What if Nothing is “Wrong?”

Wherever you are, whatever your felt state, you are in relation to your environment and the organisms in it.

Confusion. Overwhelm. Felt helplessness. Paralysis. Disconnect. We tend to identify these felt states as problems we need to fix. Feelings that need to end. Things that need to be overcome.

But what if they are much more interesting than that? What if they are full of possibility?

Ecology (from Greek origins of “house” + “study of”) is an always already. In biology, it’s the study of living organisms in their environment.  In nature, it’s a woodland, desert, freshwater, saltwater, etc. None of them exist, nor can exist, in isolation. All require loops of interdependence. Relationship.

We tend to spend a lot of our lives memorizing the biomes and not paying much attention to the edges. Saltwater is toxic to land-based trees. What happens between forrest and saltwater? That transitional area is an ecotone (from Greek origins of “house” + “tension”).

The coolest f*cking things happen in the in-between: growth, adaptation, survival, evolution. And lots of unknowns, uncertainty, and emergence. Perhaps that’s why we are often visually or energetically drawn to that which allows for a world between conditions: sunsets; the beach; tidepools; an eclipse; waterfalls; rainbows; bioluminescence. We are already experts at recognizing the beauty of transition. It just feels different when you are the organism experiencing it.

While a textbook might lead you to believe that the world is cleanly mapped into distinct biomes, the reality is that our world is an ecotone.

You are no different. We are no different.

Your heart can’t serve you without transitioning the magic of your blood from the marrow of your bones. The air in your lungs doesn’t mean much without the ability to move through membranes and oxygenate your body. Conversely, thoughts can carry too much meaning without relating them to the rest of what you’ve got going on.

There is so much vibrancy, creativity, and adaptation in states of uncertainty. It’s hard to move through all of the tension on your own, let alone feel the beauty of it. We can explore that together.

This is what we do in a Clarity Session. 90 minutes dedicated to you. You come messy. We partner to get at what’s really going on. You leave with a felt shift and a new way of relating to conditions of your life.
